National Day is just around the corner, and we will be spotlighting here four of our Singapura (canine and feline) Specials our homegrown, local breeds, leading up to National Day.

A forever home has been long overdue for these Specials, all of whom have been with us a while now. They may be among our more senior animals, but they wont give any less love than a younger animal can. Help us share this post, and make this National Day extra special for them, by taking them further to their forever families!

Kicking off our spotlights is IDA, a cross-breed with more than just a pretty face! Easily one of our most senior dogs, she has been with us since March 2008! Shes indeed come a long way since her humble beginnings as a neglected and abandoned puppy.

What makes Ida extra appealing is her exceptionally personable, sweet and unassuming character. Blessed with also one of the friendliest, most approachable faces, she enjoys being with people and would make an awesome family pet. She loves her walks and exercise, and thus would fare best in a home with a garden or access to public dog runs.

Do come by http://www.spca.org.sg/services.asp, and/or our shelter, if you are ready for that meaningful commitment of a lifetime.
