Rinko arrived at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand after she was found with an x-shaped wound on both her back paws. The cuts were so deep her nerves and tendons had been severed. This meant she was unable to control her paws so they were constantly pointing backwards. She was also very skinny and depressed.

The vets at Soi Dog cleaned her wounds and bandaged her feet daily to keep her paws in the correct position. Rinko took all her treatment in her stride.

Heather from the USA saw Rinko�s story on our Facebook page and contacted us to adopt her. Rinko left the shelter in July this year and is now called Marley. It hasn�t been plain sailing for Marley. Not long after her arrival Heather discovered that Marley had cancer. Marley has completed all her treatments and is now cancer free.

Thank you to Heather and her family for giving Marley a second chance and for taking such good care of her. Here are some lovely photos of Marley enjoying life now.
