My name is Misha. Please ADOPT ME!
E-mail alex@soidog.org to adopt me.
My name is Misha, I am nearly 2 years of age and I have been living at Soi Dog, Phuket, Thailand since I was just 1 week old!
I came to Soi Dog with my 8 brothers and sisters and our mummy. We had all been dumped outside a temple. We simply would not have survived if the Soi Dog truck had not found us and picked us up. I have never understood why someone dumped us like that. We were so defenceless. I suppose some people just don’t care about dogs.
Soon after we arrived, one of my sisters died. I was so sad when I found out. We all were. Since then though, most of my brothers and sisters have been adopted to new homes all around the world. My mummy has found a new home too. I am so happy for them but sometimes I wonder why I am still here. Am I not special enough? Am I not pretty enough? I don’t know the answer. I thought I was a good dog.
I do the best I can to get on here. I live in a run with 19 other dogs and it is okay, but I am a shy girl by nature and the louder dogs here scare me. I can be nervous but I am trying really hard to be more confident and make the effort to get to know new people here. Its takes a while though.
I need a home of my own where my new family understands that I am scared of anything new and will be extra patient with me. I have never seen what the world outside is like. I know lots of dogs here are getting adopted at the moment and I am scared I may get overlooked. The older I get, the more I may get forgotten about. There is nothing wrong with me. I just need a family that have got the patience and love to help me blossom.
Please e-mail alex@soidog.org to find out how to help me. Please.
