Appeal for Information: Rabbit found (allegedly abandoned) at car park [SPCA Ref. No.: AH 128260]

On 30 April 2015 (Thursday) at about 11.20am, a rabbit was found allegedly abandoned at Blk 476A Segar Rd (in the multi-storey car park) on Deck 4 near Staircase 3. It was also reported to have been seen at that spot two days ago.

The rabbit is in SPCAs custody at the moment, and will be up for adoption once checked and treated by the vets.

The SPCA is urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call its 24-hour hotline 62875355 ext. 9 and e-mail inspector@spca.org.sg. Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

Under the revised Animals and Birds Act, anyone found guilty of cruelty to animals, including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to $15,000, or both.
