Gifts �for Adoption�!

We�are delighted that we’ve had�3 requests for the latest owls which I’ve just completed.

However, in the past, we’ve also had readers who ordered our gifts but do not bank in their donation and the gifts are stuck with us until someone else kind-heartedly buys them up.

So, to settle this “logistics”�issue, we’ve decided to have a very simple system where certain homemade gifts will be up for “adoption”.

This will also solve the issue of readers who ordered something from us, but later decides that the final product is not what he/she wants. Since our gifts are handsewn and I am certainly no expert in sewing (!), this “adoption” system will certainly be fairer, ie. “I come, I see, I donate, pay and take home.”

Also, it’s not a good time for auctions now, especially when the GST has just been implemented. We know everyone is tightening their budget strings and may not have the resources for “extras”.

But yes, we always need funds for the animals, especially now when donations have slowed down, so we figured this is a fair�way to get some donations!
