SIX SWEETIES JUST RESCUED IN SARAJEVO

A witness told Sarajevo rescuer Edina Pasic that he had seen someone dump these puppies in a rough area, sadly without their mother. Edina knew the pups had no chance of survival in the elements, but she also didn’t have the funds to get the little ones vaccinated and into a foster care center. Already deeply in debt with the cost of so many other dogs and cats in paid foster care, she simply didn’t have the nearly 500 Euros to sponsor the rescue of this litter. So Edina sat with the puppies for a long time, a very long time.

None of us feel comfortable asking for help again and again, but in the end, Edina had nowhere else to turn for immediate help. She typed us a simple S.O.S. on her cell phone and sent photos of the puppies on scene. And while things are a little bit tight at the moment, there was no question those puppies wouldn’t be left behind. We instantly sent the funds to get the pups to the vet and into foster care and now you can see the great big smile on the face of co-rescuer Caki.

Today was a good day indeed.
