Our Adoptable Dogs Get A Day Out!

Our team took 8 dogs for a splashing good time at a river near a cemetary. Miguel, Estrela, Layla, Jackie, Lottie, Rachel (for adoption) and mascots Cookie and Zoey ran around freely and happily without a leash, it was meant to be a new year trip.

Layla runs really fast, despite being the resident lazygirl in the office. Estrela found the large area wonderful and liberating. 3-legged Zoey swam in the river happily, jumping into it on her own. Cookie was really eager, and ran like a lightning bolt but sniffing everything in her way. Miguel, who is usually napping at the shelter, was much more energetic. Jackie got lost half-way and waited for us at the car! Lottie was afraid in the beginning and didn’t want to enter, but later was persuaded by our team and Layla to come and play. Rachel was her usual cheery self, running around, rolling in the mud and playing tag.

Everyone except Zoey and Cookie (and our staff!) are for adoption, come by and pay them a visit. You might find that one of them would make the perfect partner for you!
