Swami is an 8 year old girl who arrived at our shelter with a multitude of illnesses. Most obvious was the mass by her right front elbow, which vets diagnosed as a viral papilloma or wart.

In addition, Swami was suffering with very bad skin problems – her fur had fallen out in chunks, leaving bald spots all over her trunk. She was also diagnosed with ehrlichiosis, a tick-borne illness, heartworm and anaemia.

We cannot help dogs like Swami without your support. If you believe stray animals deserve better, please click on her photograph below to help.

Swami has been started on a course of treatment now and is responding very well. She has started eating again, which will aid in her recovery. She is one of the lucky ones.

Thanks to the Soi Dog supporters who donate monthly for cases just like this one, we were able to help this beautiful girl, but as you read this, stray dogs and cats continue to suffer.

It need not be this way. Just a few dollars a week is all it takes to save them – no amount is too small; it all goes so much further in Thailand.

Please help dogs like Swami today. Please donate and help us change the world for these innocent animals.
