Hi MDDB, I’m posting on behalf of a rescuer in Penang. This darling is found in a drain with extreme trauma to her back. She was found in Bayan Lepas, near Pisa. We took her to the vet only to receive more devastating news. The spine is no longer straight, this caused the rest of the spinal cords to overlap. She is now on medicated drip that can increase the chance of healing the spine and the drip costs RM500 and we are in need of donations. A surgery needs to be performed and Dr. Teoh from Peng Aun is not able to carry out the surgery and has to be done by Dr. Goh in Ipoh. Hence the dog has to be brought to Ipoh for treatment and surgery and it will cost about RM 2000.

The rescuer cannot afford the surgery and she do not have place to house the dog. Rescuer has agreed to give us 2 days to try raise funds for the surgery or the dog will be put down as she does not have other alternatives. Everyone’s hands are tied and we would like to appeal for donation from the public in order to give her a second chance to her life.
