A Young Visitor

This afternoon, as I was driving out, I spotted a tabby digging our rubbish outside the house. The tabby looked a lot like Vincent, so I thought I’d deal with it after I returned.
When I came back, the tabby was still at the rubbish compartment.
Upon closer inspection, it wasn’t Vincent.
Nope, it’s not Vincent. This tabby is smaller and has some golden streaks.
It’s one of the tabbies I’ve seen many times at the playground.
I hope he or she (looks more like a “she”) is a pet and is just scavenging for an adventure.
But I offered food, nonetheless.
The tabby ate heartily.
But Vincent was not happy and wanted to chase the tabby away.
The tabby managed to eat two helpings.
I had to keep everyone away for that to happen.
Only Daffodil and Vincent knew about this tabby. Daffodil went under the car with the tabby, but there was no offensive.
I hope the tabby has a home.
