Trees are fundamental to the survival of orang-utans. Not only do they build their homes on trees, they also make clever tools used to help or protect themselves. For example, they use use big leaves as an umbrella to cover themselves when it rains.

WWF-Malaysia replants trees in the Bukit Piton Forest Reserve for orang-utans, connecting isolated parts of the forest to larger landscapes, broadening the area of orang-utan habitats.
