Daniel is an old big black dog. Everyday, he lives happily in the shelter. However, behind the happiness of Daniel, there is a hidden untold misery sad story.

Daniel originally is a poor stray dog. Everyday he has to beg for food from public and sometimes lives in starvation. This day-by-day begging for food life has made him scared out of wits and trembling with fear. During salvation of Daniel by volunteers, they found that there is a big wound at the back which might be caused by abusers. Due to living in agony, Daniel attempt to commit suicide. Thus, he lied on the road, wishing for a car to run over him.

Luckily before the tragedy take place, volunteers’ able to rush over and save Daniel. Volunteers’ brought him to vet and treated his wound. Under the good care, Daniel finally accepted his new life and live happily with the family in the shelter.

At present, Daniel will always put a big smile on his face. We believe that his big smile is to express his deepest appreciation for the prolonged care, love and support from volunteers’. We hope Daniel enjoy his healthiness and happiness in the shelter for the rest of his life.
