Here’s a look at some of our Turtle Guardians in Melaka! Did you know that it costs about RM12,000 to pay one graduate or local community member to be a Turtle Guardian for the 6-month peak nesting season from April to September each year? WWF-Malaysia neeeds 14 Turtle Guardians in Melaka and 9 in Terengganu.

Thanks to generous donors, we have secured funding for most of our turtle conservation efforts, but we need to raise RM100,000 before this nesting season ends to ensure that there are enough Turtle Guardians to protect our turtles.
