I WAS HUNGRY. I BEGGED A MAN FOR SOME FOOD BUT HE KICKED ME IN THE FACE

I am a beach dog of Thailand. This means I was born without an owner to care for me and the only home I have ever known is the beach. My name is Ivory and I am a two year old girl.

I look a lot better now than I did when I first arrived at Soi Dog. I had been wandering the beach desperately trying to find some food. I approached a human who was eating, in the hope that he might share a little with me. Instead, he kicked me in the face.

I was left with a very bad wound, very close to my eye. I was lucky that man didnt blind me. I was so scared when I arrived at the shelter but everyone here has been so nice to me.

Thanks to Dr. Eugene, my wound is healing really well now and I am a much happier dog than the one who arrived. I am no longer scared; I can hold my head up again.

All of this is due to the Emergency Response Team. They are very special Soi Dog supporters who mean a lot to me. It was their monthly donations that meant I could be picked up and treated.

Can you please do the same for another dog like me? There are many more out there that still need your help. Please join the Emergency Response Team to help them today. All you have to do is click on my picture to get started.

Thank you.
