An Appeal Was Received From Passerby That A German..

An appeal was received from passerby that a German Shepherd was found in a very bad condition owned by someone staying in the area of Bagan Ajam.

We have our volunteers over to check on the dog this morning only to be told that it was taken for treatment by a certain NGO in Penang. We called the NGO and came to know that owner has instructed for the dog to be put down, unlike the claimed that it was sent for treatment. We tried to stop the dog from being put down and even called the vet clinic. Unfortunately, we have no authority to put a stop.

Again, we tried our luck to get someone to go over and speak to owner, hoping that he will come to his senses and help us call the vet clinic to put a stop so that we can take over the dog. Too bad, he lied saying dog has been given away, and even sounded our volunteers for being a pest.

The German Shepherd has now left us. We are very saddened by the inhumanity of its owner.

Today, we are sharing this as a remembrance for the German Shepherd who had suffered and died in vain.

Let’s have a moment of silence and pray for the freedom of this furkid. May he rest in peace.
