WAY STATION FOR THE ANIMALS OF PALEMBANG ZOO

Isn’t this land lovely? This is where we hope to begin building the way station for the animals who are being rescued from the Palembang Zoo. Authorities in Indonesia are allowing us to provide food and water for the animals, but they will not proceed with official confiscation until there is a way station which will temporarily house the animals until they go to new sanctuaries.

At the moment, we’re using donations you’re all sending in to provide temporary care and to hopefully secure this land. And the BEST part is, that the way station will become a rescue zone for thousands of other wild animals who will be confiscated from markets and traffickers. The intention is to return them to the wild.
