No one loves me, no one cares about meI dont know my name, I dont know how long its been. I dont even have friends and I wonder the streets on my own.

I dont remember when but I was still small and I remember a man putting a wire around my neck. As I grow, the wire got tighter, and tighter, it was cutting into my skin and then flesh. It was so painful, it hurts when I breathe, it hurts when I eat, it hurts when I walk and it hurts when I sleep and then, the wound on my neck started to get infected. It started bleeding at first and then pus, and then there were maggots there were so many maggots crawling in my neck. It was so painful, but who could help me?

I was desperate but I wanted to live.

When it rained, I tried to seek shelter under some peoples eaves but people came and beat me up with wooden sticks and iron bars just to keep me away. They said that I stunk. I know I stunk, but was there someone to help me?

One day, a big brother tried to feed me but out of fear, I was aggressive towards him, I didnt let him get near me. The next day, the big brother brought a bunch of his friends with him, I was very scared and so I ran, and ran, so that they cant catch me.

I ran for a long time, I got tired and wanted to take a rest. I hid under a car, I thought it was the safest place.

It was still raining and the ground was cold and wet. The big brother and his friends caught up with me and they tried to talk to me laying on the wet ground.

Dont worry, we are here to help you so you dont have to suffer so much pain. I remember him being so gentle when he said this.

I felt so cold, so tire, so much pain and I stuck so much. I never thought that someone would come to my rescue.

I was wrong. Big brother and his friends came to my rescue. I should have believed in them.

That day, I was rushed to the animal hospital. The vet cut off the wire around my neck, got rid of all the maggots in it and cleansed my stinking rotten wound for me.

However, after the diagnosis, the vet found that my trachea and throat are severely damaged by the maggots. They were not optimistic about my condition, so I was hospitalized so that I can be treated.

I finally felt loved. Thank you Mr. Vet and thank you big brother and your friends who rescued me. I am not desperate anymore, I will live.

I will hang on to every tomorrow, please cheer for me.

Reborn, he still unable to survive. He passed away today due to wound infection.

While reborn was a puppy, the steel loop already fixed on his neck. when reborn grown up, the steel loop become more tighter and embedded inside the flesh of his neck; which caused his neck fester and pus. Reborn almost dying, while we saw him. We sent him to the veterinary immediately. Unfortunately, Veterinarian told us reborn’s trachea already eroded and his condition is not optimistic.

We named him as reborn, just because we hope he can start his new life with us. However, the miracle does not happened.

Although, reborn already left us; we still strongly believe he had start his new life in heaven. Reborn, hope you enjoy your new life there, we will not forget you.
