MY NAME IS WINNIE: PLEASE EMAIL deb@soidog.org IF YOU CAN ADOPT ME

Even though you might think I have a girl’s name, Winnie is short for Winston and I am a boy. I am almost 12 years old and have been at the shelter now for 1 year and 9 months. I am desperate to find a home of my own. I do not want to spend what is left of my life in a shelter.

I was brought here because I have really bad skin and I also had a nasty ear infection at the time. Despite my skin problems, I still look like a teddy bear with my long white fur. I am so loving with people, because I keep hoping that one day the person who walks into my run will be the one who will take me home with them. That is why if you met me, I would stick my tongue out and lick you.

PLEASE EMAIL deb@soidog.org IF YOU CAN ADOPT ME.

I get on well with the other dogs in my run but I really look forward to my daily walk; it is my little taste of freedom.

I dream of spending my senior years with someone who’ll take me for leisurely strolls around the park and then let me chill out for the rest of the day in a comfy bed. I’d be happy to go to a home with another older dog – preferably a girl, but I’d settle for a chilled out boy.

Please tell me I won’t spend the rest of my senior years in a shelter. Please open your heart and your home to an old boy who will never give you any trouble and will love you unconditionally. That is me: Winnie.

If you can adopt me, PLEASE EMAIL deb@soidog.org
