Click Here To Save A Dog Like Maril

I am a 7 year old girl called Maril and I came to Soi Dog from the streets of Phuket. I was suffering from mange, a fungal skin infection, anaemia, eye discharge, overgrown nails and I was covered in ticks. I had been in pain for a very long time and my eyes were full of despair. I was ready to give up.

Under Soi Dog’s care, I started my long, slow journey to recovery. I was given skin medications, antibiotics and nutritional supplements. I was still hungry and drinking water, so this helped in my recovery. What also helped me heal was feeling protected for the first time in my life. I had been rescued and I was safe. The despair is slowly leaving my eyes.

I was recently visited by a staff member from Soi Dog. She told me that a lady called Stacey had read my story and wants to adopt me. Stacey lives in Canada and when I am well enough, I will follow the path of so many other soi dogs who have found their forever homes abroad. I am so happy to be a chosen one.

None of this would have happened for me without the monthly donations of Soi Dog’s supporters. These are kind-hearted animal lovers who have joined a group called the Emergency Response Team. This means their monthly donations to Soi Dog are put to use saving dogs like me.

I don’t want to think about what would have happened to me without them. I don’t want to think about what will happen to all the other street dogs and cats if they don’t get help. YOU can help these animals be saved. When you have finished reading my story with its happy ending, please sign up to join the Emergency Response Team. There are so many counting on you to do so. Please don’t let them down.
