Avaya (Jadine) And Java (Truffles) Loving Life In Norway

Hi there, I am Avaya and this is my friend Java! You might remember us as Jadine (thats what I used to be called) and Truffles (that was Javas old name), but if not, you can read our story here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.689885154386556.1073742800.108625789179165&type=1

I first came to the shelter a year and a half ago. I was just a tiny puppy and my mother had been poisoned. I was all alone and terrified and would never have survived had Khun Dominic not brought me to Soi Dog. Java arrived six months later. She had been hit by a car, which left her with a very horrible leg injury. She was in agonising pain and traumatised by what had happened to her but the nice vets made sure she got better very quickly.

Java and I were put up for adoption and a few months later, a lovely couple called Henning and Mari came to visit. They were from a place called Norway and after spending some time with us girls, they told us they wanted to adopt us and take us back to their country. Java and I were so excited not only were we getting our own forever home, but Henning and Mari said that when the time came for us to travel, they wanted to collect us themselves and make the long journey with us.

We left Soi Dog a few weeks ago and here we are, enjoying our new lives in Oslo. We hope you enjoy the pictures of us we love our walks and our comfy beds but most of all, we love Henning and Mari for taking us into their home.

If you would like to adopt a dog (or cat) from Soi Dog we now know that its pretty easy. You can visit http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=FBO_avayajava2&utm_campaign=adoption to find out more, and if you can offer one of our friends a home, please get in touch.
