Hero Begins His Journey To His New Home

The day for me to go to my new home has finally arrived. Early this morning Mark came to the shelter to take me to the airport. When they let me out of my kennel I was so excited and was running around like a little puppy. They told me I have a long journey ahead so I thought I had better burn some energy before I go.

I was a bit sad saying goodbye. Everyone wanted to come and wish me a safe journey and I had to pose for photos with my friends Belinda and Dr Su. I was a good boy getting into my flight cage. It�s not so bad in there, it�s pretty roomy and they have given me a good bone to chew and a nice soft towel.

After saying goodbye to everyone, Mark and Belinda took me in the truck to the airport. It was a bit of a strange place, with lots of activity and noise. I wasn�t scared though and didn�t cry. Belinda cried a little bit though as she is going to miss me but she told me she is very happy for me and will never forget me. I will miss my friends at Soi Dog, but I am excited to meet my new Mum Sissy and her family and my new doggy brothers and sisters. I will ask Sissy if she will take some photos of me when I arrive and let everyone know how I am settling in.

I am staying in Bangkok tonight with Khun Kharn from Soi Dog Bangkok. I am looking forward to meeting her as everyone says she is really nice. Tomorrow, she will take me to the airport for my long flight to the USA. I am so excited about what lies ahead.

I want to once again thank everyone at Soi Dog for helping me. If I hadn�t been found and received help I have no doubt I would not be alive today.
