Our Vaccination Subsidies

This is a gentle reminder to all applicants that besides neutering, we also subsidise the first 2 vaccinations for your rescues. However, as responsible caregivers, we expect you to follow strictly to the vaccination schedule, ie. the first and second vaccinations should be given 21-28 days apart. NOT LATER THAN 28 DAYS.
If the 28 day period has lapsed and the booster is given later than that, this renders the first vaccination invalid and the entire vaccination schedule would have to be repeated.
Then, it would not only be a waste of funds, but it is subjecting the animal to an unnecessary and stressful procedure, all because the caregiver did not adhere to the schedule.
Our funds are only given to needy and responsible caregivers.Being responsible includes making the effort to learn about the medical needs of street animals and adhering to the deadlines to ensure that procedures are carried out effectively for the optimum health of the animals.
Also, if you are claiming for the 2nd vaccination (the booster), we need to see the sticker of the 1st vaccination as well.
The only reason the booster cannot be given would be that the animal has fallen ill after the first vaccination and is not fit to be given the booster. Then, upon recovery, the animal would have to repeat the entire vaccination schedule again.
We know most animal rescuers/caregivers are very busy and have a lot to do, but this is still not an acceptable reason to have missed the date of the booster.
Hence, we will not subsidise the cost of all late boosters.
