Having a pet does not mean playing with a cute puppy. It represents a lifetime commitment of growing old together, being loyally supportive and showering each other with unconditional love.
An old man named Ootsuki in Japan has beautifully illustrated this by creating a makeshift cart to bring along his beloved ailing dog wherever they go, staying true to the words “Till death do us part”.
The Japanese words “??? 16?” on the cart mean “Pao, 16 years old”.
A great, inspiring and touching example for all of us indeed.
