The story:
Agnes went scouring through the textiles shops before Chinese New Year, to look for cloth with horse motif. And her perseverance paid off! She found this curtain material:
Agnes bought 18 horses!
Thank you very much, Agnes.
And I worked through Chinese New Year (in between planning for Eugene’s pound rescue).
Each horse would be framed in this pretty patchwork cloth.
The horse cloth material was easy to work with as it’s very thick cotton.
It measures 54.5 inches by 76 inches.
Yes, it’s BIG and heavier than our usual blankets!
And this is a two-layered cotton patchwork without padding in between.
The backing is done in pink and sewn by my mum.
I did the top design and the top-stitching.
How about 18 horses to keep you warm and comfortable?
Will this blanket be yours?
Happy Bidding!!
