She brings love, loyalty and happiness to her owner. But at last, she being dumped by her owner outside a pet shop. She is Marimo.

When we purchase a dog, it might be a part of your life while you will be its only one. If you love it, then you should not abandon it.

She is Marimo. The staff of pet shop saw her being abandoned in front of pet shop. She barks and chases her owner�s car. At last she fell down to drain pit while her owner drove away in highspeed.

When she just gets into our shelter, she missed her owner much. She never eats and never let anyone approach to her. Whenever we get near to her, she gets very angry and bit our workers. We felt sad when saw her being abandon although she is very loyalty to her owner.

Luckily our volunteer, Wei Da keeps her at his house and takes good care on her. Currently, only Wei Da able approaches her. To the other, she still will get angry and bit anyone that gets near to her. We believe she already lost her trust on human. She afraid to get any hurts anymore, she choose this way to protect herself.

Let give her some more times, she must able to be strong, and accept all the loves from us and anyone that cares about her. One day, she can be friend to anyone with open hand. Marimo, you can do this���

Before we have any pets, we must think twice. To grow them is a responsibility to a living being. Regardless their lifetime, you not only need to provide them foods, but to care them as your family members. They do need love and time from you. We have this responsibility but not treat them as rubbish, just leave them there. Once you have them as pet, you should take care on them for their whole life. If you not able to do so, please get them a owner instead of abandon them.

Our family members are increasing more and more; we really need help from public to sponsor our babies in this big family. Are you willing to be the monthly sponsor for Marimo? Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
