Yet another hit and run case!!

Her name is Brown, she’s 2 and was found by a kind girl when she was sitting by the side of a busy motorway. Brown looked at the kind girl helplessly – her belly was very big (possibly pregnant) and she couldn’t move her hind legs at all. Therefore, the kind girl rescued and sent her to the vet for treatment immediately.

Brown wasn’t pregnant, after being checked carefully by the vet, it was because she could not relief herself at all after the accident therefore her belly was bloated!! It was estimated that she was hit more than 5 days before she was rescued! The worst is that from her x-ray, it showed that her spinal cord has been damaged and that includes the nerves!! This has paralyzed her waist down!

We would like to once again, remind all the pet owners about their responsibility of being pet owners, please please please under any circumstances at all, do not abandon your pet. They are beings, just like us, they are not toys, we cannot just toss them out like they are trash. Also, road users, please do not hit and run, that animal is your responsibility if you run over it! Your decision could well save a life or two!
