DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MODEL OF FERAL CAT SHELTER?

Would love to hear from all of you who have set up feral cat shelters. Do you have a favorite style?

We told you yesterday about a feral cat colony near our headquarters which will now fall under the care of our Founder Laura Simpson. She was out there today, talking with the owner of the auto body shop, investigating the number of cats and sizing up the best areas for shelters. The cats came quite close and we’ll see about homing the friendly ones in the bunch. But for the ferals, our goal is to provide the warmest possible winter shelters (and naturally spay/neuter & a feeding station are already in motion)

We’ve found that individual insulated shelters placed inside a shed work nicely for large colonies. What about you? Any positive experiences to share?
