Updates On Dancer And Kutty (from Lester Hiew Thiam Hock)

I am writing this to you because I felt that it is nice to highlight this out.
Kutty recently recovered from a massive maggot wound (will write this case to you later).
I simply want to thank you, AnimalCare and its donors who have helped me and my mother in previous cases, Mr. Kok and Ms. Cindy Lim. Without the help, I doubt I will be writing this to you about these 2 dogs, Kutty and Dancer (http://myanimalcare.org/2013/06/03/medical-subsidy-for-kutty-accident-dog-victim-lester-hiew-thiam-hockjenny-khong-chin-chins/�&�http://myanimalcare.org/2013/11/11/spaying-and-medical-subsidy-for-3-dogs-lester-hiew-thiam-hock-jenny-khong-chin-chins/).

When mum and I first found Kutty and Dancer on separate occasions, they are very afraid of humans even though they seem like very friendly and happy dogs. The 2 dogs, Dancer especially, will not let people to touch them. Thinking back again, we took quite a number of tries and patience to develop a relationship of trust between us and these 2 dogs. Gradually, they let mum and I to approach them, carry them, pat them, and even touch them while they are eating their food! This really made us happy.�What really made us even more happy is when they slowly open up to other people as well.

Today, it was the kopitiam aunty who told me that previously, they will not even come near to her but now, they let the aunty to touch them as well. The kopitiam aunty also highlighted that it was a car,�not a motorbike,�which ran over Dancer and Dancer cried loudly as the aunty was there to witness to event (http://myanimalcare.org/2013/08/29/medical-sponsorship-for-dancer-community-dog-lester-hiew-thiam-hocks/). The kopitiam aunty said Dancer is quite lucky to sustain a non-life threatening injury. She also said that Dancer has grown fatter as well.

Just want to say that we are happy that these dogs are slowly opening up to people!

Attached is photos taken today while I was in the kopitiam. Kutty and Dancer came in the kopitiam and sat with me. Today was another meatless day for me. Prayers go to�Philippines’ people and animals as well.�
