Updates On 6th Nov 2013

Good morning!

Here at ACRES we are happy to work with not only individual volunteers, but we also enjoy relationships with groups and companies throughout Singapore.

One of our biggest supporting companies is The Body Shop, who regularly raises funds for us and help volunteer at the AWRC.

We would like to give a belated Thank You to the members of staff from The Body Shop who recently gave up their valuable time to carry out some much needed maintenance work. This included washing the walls of the Education Centre and carrying out some gardening duties around the AWRC.

Not only this, but the staff also raised funds independently alongside the funds raised by The Body Shop, with the donation to ACRES totalling over $700!!!

A huge THANK YOU to all the staff who volunteered their time and effort. Together you helped make the AWRC a better place, as well as helping us to continue our work.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
