Rescues & Cruelty Cases

CHERAS – we received a report of a pet dog being tied outside the compound, getting wet when it rains as the tree did not provide adequate shelter. Our Animal Welfare Officers have visited and adviced the owner to move the dog indoors immediately. The person who reported the dog said they will report any positive changes to us, failing which the case will be forwarded to the Dept of Veterinary Services (as a cruelty/neglect case as the dog is subjected to the heat and rain) and the local council (as the dog is outside the house compound) for their action. Case is ongoing.
