Spaying Subsidy For Momo The Cat And Medical Subsidy For Odie The Cat (Lim Swee Yens)

We have subsidised RM100 for the spaying of Momo (female cat) and RM75 for the medical treatment of Odie (male cat). This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM75) and Berjaya Cares (RM100).

Subject: Neutering subsidy for 1 female cat (Momo); Medical Subsidy for 1 cat (Odie)

Dear Dr. Chan,
I would like to apply for a subsidy for the neutering of 1 female cat, Momo. Momo had mange and was very skinny when she was rescued from her irresponsible owner. Her owner did not want her anymore and decided to just let her roam free. A kind neighbour has been feeding Momo but did not seek any medical treatment for Momo’s condition. Momo has fully recovered from the mange and considering how irresponsible the owner was, I believed that Momo was not neutered and I was right. As she is a pedigree, neutering is definitely a must before putting her up for adoption. I would not want her to fall in the hands of a breeder.
As for the other cat, Odie, I would like to apply for a medical subsidy (Total Bill RM150). Odie also had mange when I first rescued him. However, the subsidy for the medical bill that I am applying for is for the blood in urine (cause unknown). I have attached the picture of the litter tray with the bloody urine. Odie has been treated with antibiotics but his condition persisted and so the vet recommended to have a blood test done. Blood test results showed that everything was normal. So, Odie was again treated with a course of antibiotics and thankfully his condition improved. There is still blood in his urine and if the condition persists, I would need to visit the vet again.
Thank you and best regards,
Swee Yen
