We called up the clinic at 2.20pm today to enquire about Black and was informed of the following:
1. Black has been discharged today together with her 6 puppies and has gone to an adopter/fosterer’s house.
2. Black was brought in recumbent sometime ago but has improved after her stay at the clinic. She can already support herself by shifting her weight on her legs now. The vet posits that it is possible that Black will improve with the help of acupuncture.
3. There were two bills for Black and Adibah has settled both bills in stages. A client at the clinic has also donated towards the bills. Both bills have been settled in full.
A few of our readers have sent us a few Facebook links where Black’s case had been widely publicised over Facebook and donations had been sought and received. Another reader informed us that she herself has also donated directly to this case.
We have written two emails to Adibah to request clarification on this case because she had expressed interest to claim for a subsidy but there has been no reply.
As per our policy, since donations have already been received from other sources, we will not be subsidising this case.
We wish Adibah all the best in taking care of the needs of Black and we hope Black will be on her feet soon.
