WOMAN TRUCKS IN FOOD TO SAVE STARVING HERDS

It’s time to get ready for the dinner party. But what do you serve when each guest weighs 3,000 pounds?

This month we’re helping to save the herds here at Hippo Haven in Zimbabwe. Low rainfall has turned most of the green landscape here to dust. In order to protect the grazing animals here from utter starvation, nearly a TON of hay and other goodies are served each evening to keep them alive.
