Updates On 8th Aug 2013

The flier below was presented to SPCA yesterday 7th August to help circulate as the dogs were not found since then. Owner Ivan Pang has distributed fliers and hung banners in town for the return of his 2 dogs. Banners went missing too. This is the culture of some Penangnites who have the habit of removing banners from the streets even though they were licenced by MPPP. Our three banners for our 18/8 SPCA Family Carnival hung at various places had the same fate too.

Ivan was informed that it would be difficult as the dogs got lost since 23rd July. He is heartbroken and wanted his dogs back very badly. However, there is still hope. He was advised to contact Lynda at Zeus Communications an Animal Communicator Agent for Rosina Aquarti based in Singapore. Ivan made calls to Lynda in S’pore and another to Rosina in Hongkong to relate about his two missing dogs. Ivan was told what to do. Two hours later Ivan got one of his dogs returned! It was indeed an amazing piece of news for us to hear that Mei Mei was returned last night. They are still working for the return of `Princess’.

Princess is still out there yearning to be reunited with her owner. If you happen to know of someone who has just acquired a 3 year old female Poodle, please help find out more about the newly acquired dog. She may be the one below still reported lost.

Thank you for sharing with your friends in your email circulation list. Help appreciated. TQ. SPCA TEAM

SPCA Penang

SPCA Penang's main objectives are to prevent the unnecessary suffering of animals and to ensure responsible pet ownership. Hence the Society acts to prevent cruelty to animals and promotes kindness towards them by fostering an intelligent public interest regarding Man's duty animals.

Though the Society is sometimes compelled to put down an animal, our work covers a much more wider scope of rescuing, rehabilitating, healing and re-homing the animals.
