Little Things Matter So Much

It is said that we cannot change the world by helping ONE animal but we can certainly change the whole world for that one animal whom we help.
This is none truer than what happened to my student three days ago.
I received a text message from Kajen asking if I would like to adopt a puppy. Two photos were attached. I replied saying that I couldn’t because I already have my hands full. I suggested that he post it on PetFinder.my.
After about an hour, Kajen replied that the puppy had already found a home.
Yesterday morning, I met Kajen and he told me what happened.
Apparently, he and his friend spotted this puppy who was left at a bus stop. The poor thing was shivering and very scared. Kajen and his friend took the puppy to a petstore and paid RM100 to give the puppy a bath and buy her a collar.
Kajen wanted to adopt the puppy himself but his family would not allow him to. Luckily a friend fell in love with the puppy and agreed to adopt her.
Now the puppy has a home!
Little things matter so much, doesn’t it?
If you care enough, you will do it – that says it all. Kudos to Kajen and his friend!
