Abandoned Pet Dog Requiring Urgent Medical Help (Winnie Lows)

Winnie told me about this abandoned pet dog yesterday. In fact, Winnie left our booth earlier to attend to this dog, but she was not able to catch him to send to the vet as the dog was growling.

The vet was not open yesterday, but has agreed to provide help today. We will await updates to see if more help is required.

In any case, we have offered our medical subsidy for this poor dog. It is indeed sad that the poor dog had been left in this vacant house without food and water. Luckily, Winnie’s friend, CL, has been feeding the dog. But now, medical attention is required urgently.

Dear Kah Yein,

Below is some description of what I saw this afternoon.

This afternoon I went with CL to the corner house at USJ trying to
rescue a dog that was left there by its owner when they shifted.
The dog was left there for at least 2-3 weeks by looking at the awful
sight of the poo everywhere & the unpleasant smell. Even worst if you
look at the condition of the dog. How could someone let their “PET”
rot in this way?? Look at the condition of the skin & the long nails.
Photos attached. Is so torturing for the dog. CL has been feeding the
dog daily in the morning & evening. Thank you to this kind person. She
will contact the vet tomorrow & see if anything could be done to at
least help this poor furry or furless fellow to at least get his nails
clip & medication/jab to cure his skin problem for now.

Anyone knows what happen to this poor dog & why it was left there without care?

I wish people are more humane. If everyone has compassion towards
their pet or community animals or strays, the place will be a better
place to live in. I wish all animals will have at least food & shelter
if not care.

Metta,
Winnie
