Finally, the Puchong dog is now at the vet’s and Pei Kuan has named her Bonny.

A friend (she has requested anonymity) called me this morning to say they had managed to catch Bonny and will be sending Bonny to the vet’s this morning. The friend sent these photos:

Enjoying the air-cont while on the way to the vet’s.

I drove to the vet to wait for them but by the time I reached the clinic, they had already left.

Here is the photo I took, of Bonny at the vet’s:

The vet had not examined Bonny yet but he does not think Bonny has TVT. Rather, it looks more like a vaginal prolapse. The vet says spaying would normally take care of a problem of this nature. The vet also does not think Bonny is pregnant. Her stomach is bloated (has been bloated for at least two months, based on reports from friends in Puchong who have noticed her presence since February). The vet will probably do an ultra sound to investigate further.

Since this is Pei Kuan’s rescue, we shall await updates from her. Pei Kuan will pay for boarding and on our part, we will provide the 50% medical subsidy on treatment rendered as per our policy. Our donor, Angel Inc. will top up the balance of the 50% for the medical treatment (as per our policy requirements) and upon receiving updates and photos from Pei Kuan.

We hope Bonny will recover soon. She seems a friendly and very sweet-natured dog.

Thank you, the anonymous friend and Pei Kuan, for doing the needful for Bonny and also, many thanks to the vet and his assistant for making the attempt to catch Bonny a few days ago. And of course, thank you to everyone who has helped.
