Kimis Home!! (a Sharing By Koo)

As a pet owner, my two greatest nightmares would be (1) my pet has a life-threatening illness and there is no known treatment, and (2) my pet is lost.
Kimi was lost two weeks ago. She struggled out of her leash and ran off during a routine morning walk with her owner, Mr Lee. Efforts were made to locate her but she could not be found until…yesterday!

Here is the story below (from Koo) and we cannot over-emphasize the importance of letting our dogs wear a tag which has our contact details. Without this, Kimi would possibly not have had this happy reunion with Mr Lee yesterday.
From Koo:
Hi Dr Chan,
I visited Mr Lee and Kimi yesterday and took some pictures as
attached. Surprisingly, Kimi didn’t look any worse for wear despite
being lost for two weeks. When the Malay boy called Mr Lee to inform
that Kimi was at Kg Penchala (next door to TTDI), he rushed to the
spot and Kimi came running to him when he called her. Mr Lee offered a
cash reward but the boy refused to accept any and would only take
words of gratitude. Mr Lee shared that the animal communicator could
only foresee that Kimi will come back but couldn’t tell when. Her
prediction came true!
Anyway, this happy ending is a great testimony to the time-proven
benefit of attaching a tag with the owner’s hp number and collar to
the pet. Both the tag and collar only costs less than RM50 and it’s a
one-time lifetime cost but the best insurance to vastly increase the
chances of a lost pet being returned.
Thank you and best regards,
Koo
Kimi and Mr Lee – what a joyous reunion!
Be a good girl now and don’t run off again, Kimi!
