Earth Hour 2013 With MDBC And Intercontinental KL

In conjunction with Earth Hour 2013, the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC) and Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur have joined forces, Uniting People to help Protect the Planet. Members of the public are invited to join them for Earth Hour:

Confirmed VIPs attending include the Netherlands Ambassador, the CEOs of Basis Bay, Philips and AkzoNobel as well as representatives from WWF-Malaysia, so do come join us for this fun and informative session!

Feel free to also bring friends and family, there will be plenty of fun and creative activities for the non-corporate guests and kids. InterContinental Kuala Lumpur is organizing a learning experience in the hotel on recyclable items with a competition for the kids and great prizes to be won! WWF-Malaysia representatives will also be sharing their conservation efforts and have an informative session. There are great prizes available for the lucky draw and silent auction so don’t miss out on this fun event!

This will be a fun, creative and informative session with various suitable activities for corporate, guests and families! Between 7.45pm – 8.15pm there will be two �round-table� sessions, 15 minutes each. Guests can interact with the CEOs and VIPs to share ideas on sustainability. Selected VIPs and CEOs of MNCs will also do double-duty as bartenders! All proceeds from the sale of drinks during Earth Hour, lucky draw tickets and silent auction will be donated to WWF-Malaysia�s conservation efforts.

To facilitate the ease of donating proceeds from that evening, the purchase of drinks and food items will be handled in cash. Silent Auction items are payable by cash or cheque, so please bring your cheque book.

Kids and non-corporate guests will also have fun and creative activities to participate in for the evening so everyone is welcome. Registrations are not required as this is a walk-in activity, but we would appreciate it if you can announce your participation so that we can better prepare in terms of set up, activities and door gifts.
