Connie and I arrived at Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Medicine early this morning.
On hand to greet us and lend a hand was Dr Veeranoot, Dr Lau Yee Ling and several student helpers.
We set up our booth quickly and the keychains were an instant hit!
The student helpers were dressed in our latest tshirts!

An incident towards the end of the event – one of PAWS’ cats escaped and hid in the drain.
That created quite a scene but they finally managed to lure the cat out with canned food!
That’s the celebrity cat in the orange carrier.
One cat was finally adopted and the students helped put the lucky cat into the take-home carrier.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn and Dr Lau Yee Ling from the School of Parasitology for organising this event and also the whole Faculty of Medicine for their support and members of the faculty and the public who came to support and donate to our cause.
