Pet Adoption Day

Results: 8 puppies out from the 17 were adopted during this Adoption Drive.

With the recent arrangement of SPCA Seberang Perai taking over the dogs caught back to the pound by MPSP, the shelter is now extremely loaded.

When Mdm. Tan visited the pound, she found that dogs caught back by MPSP were left under the sun and rain without food and drinking water. She has no heart to see these animals suffering and so she offered to take over the dogs.

With the shelter getting overloaded, we would like to appeal to the public to come adopt from the shelter. We will be holding more adoption drives from now on, hoping to find good homes for the animals and at the same time to give more space for others.

As more animals come in, eventually the cost of maintaining the shelter increased. We plead the public to donate to the shelter generously and help fund Mdm. Tan to fight for her good cause.

SPCA Seberang Perai

The SPCA Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005. Our primary aim is to reduce the population of stray animals or possibly a zero stray population in a humane manner. With lesser strays or no strays at all, the loving value of animals will be greatly increased and you can be sure that humans will shower more love for their pets and be responsible pet owners. The problem should not only be shouldered by our Society as the public must also understand the urgent need to control the pet population and give their whole-hearted support to all our projects for the undertaking to be successful. Then we will achieve a clean and hygienic environment for the community. As a no killing organization, we are embarking on a two-prong approach towards the problem i.e public education and sterilization of the stray animals.
