He is ODU, is only about 3-4 years old furry kids with a very strong willpower.
On a Thursday evening, a kind-hearted girl contacted Auntie Jia Jia with a crying tone; she saw a dog hit by a car was tripped by the side of the road!
We really shocked when we arrived on the scene his rear foot bones were broken and exposed outside, another hind leg also injured and emits bursts of odour!! We believe that the wound has been for some time, the most terrible that his wound is not caused by hit of a car, but it was done by the cruel human beings!!
Although he suffered from human battering, but he is very friendly towards us and he is a very lovely dog, we highly suspect that ODU was abandoned by his owner!
After veterinary diagnostic ODU back foot is no longer able to connect back, it needs to be amputated!
For human, the slightly injured to the bones was already unbearable; you can�t imagine the kind of pain that ODU is experiencing caused by battering from human!
If you cannot commit to take care of your pets for the rest of their life, please don�t bring them home! Please educate the next generation how to respect life. You can don�t love them, but please do not hurt them!

ODU’s medical costs are huge and it needs generosity of everyone, please let Odu has a new life of hope! Thank you!!

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
