Christmas is just around the corner! Why not spare the turkeys this Christmas, and in the spirit of peace and goodwill to all, have a Veggie meal instead?
Turkeys are beautiful, intelligent, sensitive, playful, sentient beings. When not forced to live on filthy factory farms, naturally turkeys spend their days caring for their young, building nests, foraging for food, taking dust baths, preening themselves, and roosting high in trees. They are naturally curious, always checking out new sights and smells, and enjoy having their feathers stroked.
Just before Christmas last year, Edgar’s Mission took in eight turkeys who had been rescued from a factory farm. On this video you can see them experiencing freedom and sunshine for the first time
