Visiting Meiji And Her Dogs

A few weeks ago, a group of friends went up to visit Meiji and her dogs. I was offered a ride there as well, but my traveling days are over. All my life, I’ve always had a bad case of motion sickness when riding in any land vehicle and it’s been getting worse with age, so I passed.

Most of the dogs are 8 years and above by now. Meiji has stopped taking in dogs about two years ago.

If I remember correctly, this would be the way to the other enclosures. Russell is taikor in one of them while Jackie (the one-eyed female) rules another one. Russell, Jackie, Doby and Sweetie are our sponsored dogs at Meiji’s. We provide for their food and their medical needs.
