An Alert From PETA (on Animal Testing)

We have always spoken up against animal testing as it is one of the most cruel industries on earth. What’s more, it is often unnecessary and unreliable too because it does not make sense to test our human products on animals. We are biologically different. With the advancement of science, there are already other methods of testing such as using cultured human tissue and mathematical modelling.

This is an alert from PETA. Please do the needful. I have signed. Never underestimate the power of ONE VOICE.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. – Margaret Mead

From PETA:

I have some concerning news to share and need your help urgently to save animals from cruelty in laboratories.

Recently, after discussions with PETA, Air India implemented a companywide ban on shipping animals to laboratories. However, the company has suddenly abandoned that policy, bowing to pressure from greedy, fear-mongering animal experimenters, and has decided to once again transport animals to laboratories to be subjected to lives of misery and pain and a premature death.

In one recent experiment in India, beagle dogs had their legs cut open so that transmitters could be inserted into them, had tubes forced into their penises, and were repeatedly injected with experimental drugs.

Jet Airways, India’s second-largest airline has confirmed that it “refuse[s] to carry live animals for laboratory experiments.” Likewise, major international carriers, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, Cathay Pacific, Korean Airlines, Qantas, and EVA Air, prohibit any shipments of animals destined for experiments.

Please take a moment tourge Air Indiato keep its promise to protect animals by reinstating its ban on shipping animals to laboratories.

Thank you for all that you are doing to help animals!

Sincerely,

Justin Goodman, M.A.
