Baggy Passes On To Rainbow Bridge, Reunited With Baloo And Uncle Bobby Now

While we were at the Le Viva event today, Andy texted me the sad news that Baggy had passed away. It was 6.36pm in the evening.
Emily had brought Baggy with her back home and after reaching home and settling Baggy in, Baggy threw a seizure and shortly after, passed away peacefully.
Ever since Baggy’s last visit to the vet, she started deteriorating. A few days ago, her appetite also dwindled and she seemed less active. Then, she started defecating and urinating outside her litter box. Andy and Emily had been communicating with me throughout and we discussed all the options we could do to help Baggy. We even booked an acupuncture slot for her. We were already prepared for the worst knowing how deadly the FeLV virus is. But as I understand it, acupuncture can sometimes give the animal some energy and mental strength to decide what is right for itself.
Emily was still calling this morning regarding what food to feed Baggy. She has been force-feeding Baggy for the last few days, and Baggy was eating. We decided AD would be the best. Emily even bought a new bottle of Hi-Vite and Pet-Tinic for Baggy and Baggy had been taking all her supplements.
After Baggy passed on, I spoke with Emily and she said Baggy ate a good meal this morning. Emily even said that Baggy looked brighter and had perked up. In fact, Emily remarked how pretty Baggy looked and spent the day calling her “Pretty Girl”. Even upon reaching home before the seizure, Emily said Baggy really looked very pretty.
Sometimes, our pets will look their best before going off so that we remember them in their best light.
I want to thank Andy and Emily for adopting Baloo and Baggy and giving them a life full of love and joy. It may not have been very long, but time is relative and it is the quality of life that matters.
Emily wrote in her text message:
When I look back at the videos when they were young, playful and naughty, for sure both of them really brought us a lot of happiness. Thank you, my lovely baby.
Here are some final photos of Baggy, sent by Emily:

Baggy, resting in peace with her catnip pillows.
Bye, bye, dearest Baggy.
You are now re-united with your sister, Baloo, and also Uncle Bobby.
Emily said Lucas (their dog) and their children also said goodbye to Baggy.
Thank you, Andy and Emily, for giving Baloo and Baggy a beautiful life.
And here are some of photos from my album of Baggy, Baloo and Uncle Bobby:
Re-united now.
In ever loving memory of Baloo, Baggy and Uncle Bobby.
May all of you share the warmth and love you always have, on earth and now, in a much happier realm.
Two losses in a matter of days…but death is a certainty in all life and it is something we have to be prepared for. I am comforted that Bobby lived a long, purposeful life and had much opportunity to perform good deeds. I am equally comforted that Baloo and Baggy lived a very happy and joyful life though it was short. They had a happy childhood and after the disease finally manifested, they did not suffer for a long period. Sometimes when life is short, it means it is meant to be short. What matters is not how long we have lived, but how well. After all, our earthly life is far from being perfect, why stay longer than necessary? After we are done “doing our time” on earth as we are meant to, we move on to a better place.
Bobby, Baloo and Baggy are now in that better place and we wish them well.
