Guinea pigs are often associated with hamsters and sometimes they are known as �large hamsters�. Therefore, there are often misconceptions about guinea pigs due to this association.

Please do not buy a giant exercise wheel for your guinea pig. Unlike hamsters, the bodies of guinea pigs are not designed to support the stress caused by running on an exercise wheel. Prolong use of exercise wheels can cause serious spinal injuries for your guinea pigs! Remember this, never get an exercise wheel for your guinea pigs!

Always remember to check the facts before introducing any new toys or diet to your pets, there are many other common misconceptions out there that we need to eliminate for the sake of our beloved pets!
