Some people are quick to condemn what’s on their own homeground without doing anything constructive about it. They often think that things arebad at home and the grass is greener on the other side.

It reminds us that animals, being the weaker beings in our concrete jungle, are subject to all kinds of suffering due to various reasons.
Human cruelty and sadism are amongst the worst ones.
If there are two values that need to be ingrained into all human cultures, it would be these two:
(1) Equality of all living beings;
(2) Unconditional kindness to all beings without discrimination.
Without the practice of the above values, animals, no matter where they are in our concrete jungle, will always suffer at the hands of cruel humans.
