SOS (Save Our Strays ) is a newly formed CONSORTIUM GROUP, consisting of 5 NGOs (SPCA Sg Petani, MDDB, MIAR, 4PAWS, PHR,) and other individuals, such as �stays rescuers� and animal lovers. Together, all have joined forces to work on the plight of Penang�s stray animals.

We will be organizing a Memorial Service for the late Ms. Sabrina Yeap , who is popularly called � The Mother Of The Strays�. Sabrina is the founder of Furry Friends Farm (FFF). The memorial service is on Sunday 29th Jul 3pm at Sam Cheng Everloving Care Welfare Society Unit No 288C-2-12 Fortune Court, Jalan Thean Teik, Air Itam. Currently Furry Friends Farm has no income and rely totally on public assistance and donation. The shelter is registered under Sdn Bhd – Sabrina�s name where the bank account has also been frozen. �The shelter is in a perilous state;� at present, it is in need of dog & cat food, disposal gloves (S,M,L), DMG, Fish / Chicken Essence (Pati Ikan / Ayam Haruan) to treat sick & weak animals. FFF is not ready to accept cash donation for time being but we can help by donating cash to pay off their debts with the Vet Clinic ( Klinik Haiwan Dan Surgery Wawasan ) Tel No : 03- 5582 0755 and Pet First Veterinary Centre 03 � 6259 5499.

After depositing the cash donation to relevant Vet Clinics�s bank account, please email or fax the deposit slip to respective Vet Clinics and state clearly that the cash amount donation is for FFF, also please copy an email to SOS, so we could keep track the record. According to Pet First – Dr Kiew, any donation collected, will be published on line via Furry Friends Farm facebook. In the even of any access donation will use the access fund to buy dog/cat food for FFF.

We would like to share some news about SOS plans on helping & solving strays issue and Dr Dog Programmes to remember the dedication & caring towards voiceless souls and to also to continue the Strays saving work of Ms Sabrina over in Northern Region.

On 19th Jul, 2012 , SOS had a meeting with members of Penang Council (local authority) at the Esplanade Council building to discuss on a Neutering Programme. SOS is hoping to work together with the Council & the public to implement the Neutering Programme. To spay the female strays on streets will be our main priority. This is the only solution to control the Strays population in a humane way. �
