Updates On 6th Jul 2012

Hope is the emotion that drives us forward.

And Hope, the monitor lizard pictured below, is still very much alive after a hit and run yesterday afternoon.

She regurgitated her meal, possibly a toad (crushed on the road beyond recognition). While the blood in her mouth could be from her meal, our vet has cleaned up her bloody toe where she had lost a nail and will observe her road to recovery over the next few days.

Fingers crossed, we will update everyone on Hope’s injuries and the possibility of a potential release soon.
